IMDS
Starting in 2019, we have established a separate department for hazardous substance management and enhanced our expertise in such matters. We have also established substance information management standards based on the IMDS and in accordance with customer requirements at the R&D stage. Therefore, we are analyzing and reviewing the harmfulness of the products in development. If we confirm harmfulness during our review process, we take improvement measures by changing the specifications for such parts immediately. At the same time, we collect information about the usage status of harmful substances from our customers and conduct substance information analysis and periodic monitoring to take countermeasures in a timely manner should any major changes occur.

Confirmation of product & IMDS accuracy
To prevent the exposure of harmful substances, which is a growing issue, we check all the products to be delivered to our customers for consistency of the material in the products with the information in the IMDS.

Computerization of harmful substance management
To prevent the use of harmful substances in products in advance and systematically manage chemical substances that we currently use,
we have established a computerized system for managing harmful substances starting in 2021 to manage such substances as the four major heavy metals.
