What is a conflict mineral?
Conflict minerals are 3TG (Tin), tantalum, tungsten, and gold), the four minerals produced by the African Republic of Gongko and its neighbors (Sudan, Rwanda, Brundi, Uganda, Zambia, Angola, Tanzania, and Central African Republic). In these areas, militants, including rebels and government forces, control the mining and distribution of minerals, which is believed to secure funds and continue the conflict. In the process of collecting minerals, human rights violations such as child labor and sexual assault are caused, and social problems such as environmental pollution are also caused, so these minerals are being distributed or prohibited.

Conflict minerals restriction efforts
To prevent environmental pollution, human casualties, and exploitation of child labor in conflict zones, we support policies banning the use of conflict minerals from these areas and strive to comply with such policies. We are continuously monitoring and managing the use of conflict minerals and information of the refineries of such minerals for our partners that use the four major minerals. In principal, we prohibit the use of conflict minerals by continuously monitoring the information of our partners and suppliers from the development stage through our computerized system.
